Advice if people tell you your new girlfriend is a slut

If this girl means anything to you she deserves the benefit of the doubt, especially if she has given you no cause to distrust her.

Jealousy among the "people" could be the reason they are trying to poison your relationship with your girlfriend. This happened to me when I was a teenager when one boy who liked me found out I had started a relationship with one of his friends. He tried to ruin the relationship by telling my boyfriend I had been with him and was a slut. Sounds so familiar.

You should do what you feel is right and not respond only to what "people" say. If you have reason to suspect your girfriend's fidelity, do some investigating on your own before you condemn and dump her.

Only an ass would tell someone their girlfriend is a slut. Dump them as a friend.

If you like your girlfriend and things are going well, then forget about what anyone else says.

Depends how many people are telling you. I once had a girlfriend for about 3 months, and within about 4-5 weeks i had 3 different friends tell me to get rid of her. They would never explain why, but after we broke up they admitted she hit on them - even when i was in another part of the house.
Good riddance.
