You need to focus on changing your mindset. What all are you hoarding?

My bedroom is so messy, mostly clothes all over the floor. You cannot see my floor its that bad. I have a lot of shoes too that don't wear. I also have a lot of papers in there. One good thing is I don't have any food in there which is plus I guess. Another question is if I give clothes to places like planet aid and other places like that should they be washed 1st? My mom says they wash them so its pointless to wash the clothes for them plus it would take a year to wash all the clothes I'd be giving away. I have a girl at work who told me she needs some things so I could just wash the stuff I will give to her. Please any advice to help with my hoarding would be great I don't want any one in my room to help because it is very embarrassing. Thank you!!!

P.S. You literally can't see my floor and the piles are getting very high.

Bag up the clothes you don't want and take them to a thrift store. You don't need to wash them first. Just do it.
